From what I see they like their players even if they are bad tennis players. The french public are ready to do whatever to disrupt opponent of french players.

Like the spanish, the british crowd is not close to these two. The french have the worst crowd from the slams.

Probably Tsonga or Monfils.

Obviously Monfils is the performer so naturally he will get a crowd on side but they're probably a bit frustrated by him as well.

I think they like Tsonga the most. Even though he is a bit more reserved, they seem to get behind him at will and he has probably been the best Frenchman over the years.

I would say Tsonga, but it's based on my limited social experience (I don't know so many tennis fans in the real world).
Federer is a close second, given how he is perceived as almost french sometimes here, speaking fluently and being such an international figure, and the support he can get even against french players (which is a counterexample to the theory proposed by A_Skywalker).
