Nicely done Tommy . Please continue this good form and take advantage of a kind draw. It's about time Haas gets a nice looking draw at a big event, he's been given the worst draws until this one.

Looking forward to seeing him in the 2nd week.

Andy Roddick.Fernando Verdasco.Richard Gasquet.Tommy Haas

Re: (14) T. Haas def. A. Kuznetsov 6-2, 6-4, 6-0

Just wondering, is Kuznetsov Kuznetsova's younger brother? The commentators said something like he is from Russia but plays for the US.

I love tennis because of...

Andre Agassi (always #1)---Novak Djokovic ---Rafa Nadal---
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga---Gilles Simon---Tomas Berdych---David Nalbandian---Nico Almagro

same surname but no relation
I think Kuznetsov is a very common surname in the ex-USSR

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

Yeah, extremely common. Basically the same surname as Smith (kuznets means smith). Aleksandr (or Alexander or whichever way you choose to transcribe it) Kuznetsov is probably as common in the ex-USSR countries as John Smith is in the UK and the US.

Easy win. Good for the confidence since the big names such as Federer, Nadal and Roddick also won easily. Kuznetsov helped a lot with the UEs he made.
