NYC Weather Forecast

Apparently, rain is scheduled until 7am tomorrow, which makes it unlikely that there will be any matches today Does that just mean that the whole schedule is moved forward one day?

Re: NYC Weather Forecast

I just saw on TV that they're already drying the courts (at least Louis Armstrong), so there could be matches today.

Roger Federer

Richard Gasquet, Marcos Baghdatis, Tomas Berdych, Evgeny Korolev, Stanislas Wawrinka, Fabrice Santoro, Paul-Henri Mathieu, etc

Hi guys, being a New Yorker, and in Manhattan at the moment at work, I can tell you that it's that annoying, drizzly rain that doesn't go away. I don't think any real tennis until that whole front moves on...

Sometimes, the rain situation is different just a few stops out of the City on the 7 Subway..

Yup. I was there this morning but finally left. It was raining hard when I got on the 7 at Shea, and wasn't raining 3 stops away.

It poured this morning around 11:00, finally stopped, then just when they were just about done drying AA stadium, it started again. That's when I left.

When I see live tennis on my TV, I'll go back.

Re: NYC Weather Forecast

I'd be shocked if there were able to get any real action in today, but there is always hope. Last year was a once in a decade type of year where virtually no play was interrupted by rain.

The weakened weather system is expected to come up this way which could mean another rainout type of day.

If they don't play again today can they get all the R1 matches in tomorrow?
