With a day of rain, it's sure to be...

...Agassi all the time. My prediction is that we'll see these 3 matches.

1) His classic tie-break fest 7-6, 6-7, 6-7, 6-7 lost to Sampras
2) Last year's classic with Blake
AND
3) One or maybe both of his US Open titles

As much as I want Agassi to do well on his last run, I fear that by the end of today, I'll already be tired of him & rooting for Marcos.

Hopefully we are saved by a few hours of tennis.

Right now in New York City, there is a 50% chance of rain between 11am and 2pm.

There's the weather forecast. It's not raining here in NJ yet, but it looks like it will start any minute now.

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

I'd rather see Vaidisova's mum playing.

they don't have much alternative really . . . the coverage is still over the top though . . . you'd think he was dying or something. If they are doing for him and after what they did for BJK last night, what are they going to do for Navratilova, Evert or Connors . . .

You are right. After Agassi-Pavel, it will be Agassi-Blake for sure. After that, they may resort to Agassi-Sampras, but Sampras wins that so it's third on the list.

What are you complaining about, that looks like a good program
Better than showing the 2nd or 3rd time re-live matches of some matches of yesterday

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

At this rate there'll be plenty of time to show lots of classic Agassi matches - it's absolutely pissing it down at the moment on Flushing Meadows and it looks set in for quite some time.

Re: With a day of rain, it's sure to be...

I wouldn't mind seeing some older, rarer Agassi matches, but it's always the usual suspects. Either last year's final, or his matches against Sampras in 01/02 - how about his first win in 94, one-sided though the match was?

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Yes, I would rather like to see this match too, not in the first place because of Agassi, rather for his opponent this day. But even more would I give if this match had gone the other way
