Re: Andy Roddick will win USO 2006

With the help of a partisan crowd and the USTA there is a good chance.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

I take back what I said about the ljubicic will win the USO thread.
this is far more priceless, even if you're being sarcastic.

It's just you don't want to have a lot of expectations, because when you start to have a lot of expectations you just end up losing in the third round to God knows who. ~Marat Safin, summarizing his career

Barring injuries and any other underhand activities we are going to have a Federer vs. Nadal final.

Man...this thread is embarassing. Some of these Ljubicic fans can dish it out but sure can't take it.

Jules: Rafa won't make the finals (sadly). It'll be Gasquet vs Federer.

What do you have in mind?

Well, they sure are making him feel comfortable. What a complete joke that a defending champion has too wait till wednesday to get his first match in!Typica from the U.S Open, i am glad Wimbledon has it right!

I agree. The only ones who should have matches on Ashe Stadium and play night matches are world #1s, defending champs, and high ranking Americans, which means no Sharapova on AA stadium as the headline match on Tuesday night.

Wimbledon doesn't play R1 over three days either, do they? That's what f*cks everything up. And if no matches are played tomorrow because of rain it will be a disaster just like '03.
