Stepanek fans should come out . . .

I have noticed that barely anyone has Stepaneks name in their signature. Why is this? I have NO CLUE!? Hingis loves him! Just because YOU think he looks different, doesn't mean you should be ashamed of being his fan. Stepanek is a top 10 player!

Don't be afraid, or ashamed! I am with you!

Disclaimer:
He has spent some time out of the spotlight, but I assure you he will be back. He has a back injury, and may not even be able to compete in the Davis Cup (GOD FORBID). SEND HIM YOUR PRAYERS AND BEST WISHES!

Re: Stepanek fans should come out . . .

I am at least his no. 3 fan on this board. Best wishes indeed.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

fanS? plural like that?

Im afraid its the curse of Hingis again...
its unreal, Radek injured for a while and will be for a while longer... seen it all before with the black widow.

Re: Stepanek fans should come out . . .

I think it has more to do with his personality than with his looks.
I´ve heard from some players he is not so "nice", he is like bitter...amargado.

Hmm, the way you constantly talk about Stepanek, I am wondering if you're even serious. Maybe just having a good laugh in this Forum? I should create a new account and choose the name "Daniel Koellerer".

My fan orientation is nobody's business but my own. I do not feel it is my duty to come out of the closet and make public announcements about whose ground strokes turn me on. If someone asks me I will tell them, but I see no need to go shouting it from the rooftops

Re: Stepanek fans should come out . . .

I've met Radek, he's funny, and he's nice. I just don't get the Hingis thing.

This thread was about 50% serious, I just made it because everyone was making come out of the closet threads.

However, I was looking to find all my fellow Stepanek fans out here on MTF!

I like him absolutely!
I have met Radek last year in Japan open.
He was so nice and friendly to everyone at there.
If he comes this year,(I think he is injured now?) I will cheer him as I can
