What would have happened, had Federer not played that insane match to knock a very highly confident Djokovic out? Would Nadal be able to kept his RG crown?

I choose Djokovic. Nadal had no solution to Djokovic's game at that time. In addition, Nadal had a mental problem against Djokovic in 2011 - admitted by himself. It was Federer who helped Nadal keep his RG crown, and gave him one more year to solve Djokovic.

Djokovic would achieve CGS and be would have been left deflated and depressed in 2012. Becoming a CGS legend, but retiring in 2013 with 5 GS to his name. A single washed up tennis player who broke up his long term relationship with Jelena and became a drinking buddy / wingman for Stepanek's whore mongering escapades. Hypothetically.

RAFA defeated Federer in 4 who defeated Djokovic in 4. The answer is obvious here - RAFA in straight or maximum 4 sets. Beating RAFA in masters and RG isn't the same.

Djokovic in 5 sets.

No1e of course, Waffle was Djovack's favourite Spanish lapdog that season, not even Federer suffered so many consecutive defeats by Nadal as Nadal did against Djokovic :haha:

As a matter of fact, it took the Swiss GOATs to keep the evil Joker away from the sacred CYGS, while Woofa was busy losing to N0le on clay both years, despite supposedly being the Clay Deity of tennis.

Campaigning hard for the ACC I see... Keep up the good work :yeah:

On topic, Nole was in the zone in 2011 and Rafa did not make the necessary adjustments until 2012 to start beating him again so even though I am hardcore Rafa fan I would say Djokovic in 4 sets.

RAFA would have won 4-6 7-5 6-4 6-2. Actually, Federer made a BAD job for RAFA by not allowing Djokovic to get into the final. Otherwise, RAFA would have got a lot of condifence after the RG final and, based on this, would have won Wimbledon'11, USO'11 and AO'12.

Djokovic in 4 sets. He had Nadal's numbers that year. However, interesting things would've happened afterwards. After winning Wimbledon Djokovic would've faced enormous CYGS pressure at the US Open. There wouldn't have been any miracle return and spectators would've seen Federer vs Nadal final. Obviously Nadal would have won that US Open final :wink2:

This thread is absolutely ridiculous. Fedtards still bitter that RAFA whooped their hero yet again.

At that point of time, Djokovic had NEVER beaten RAFA in a slam and somehow would've won against RAFA in a *RG final* (toughest task in tennis which nobody has accomplished)

What's RAFA H2H against Djokovic at the RG before 2015? 6-0 with three defeats in consecutive years after 2011.

RAFA would have won this match in max 4 sets.

90% sure it would be Djokovic given the winning streak he was having against Nadal.

Nadal only developed his game to counter Djokovic in 2012, he even changed the weight distribution of his racquet for 2012.

Silly thread.
Djokovic beat Nadal in straight sets at 2013 Monte Carlo.
Nadal beat Djokovic in 5 sets at 2013 Roland Garros.
Beating Nadal in best-of-3-sets doesn't help when you get to Roland Garros, except for 2015 when Nadal had absolutely no confidence (and even managed to lose the AO to Berdych, and USO to Fognini after being 2 sets up).

Djokovic in 4 like. Matchups are everything in tennis. With that in mind who knows, maybe he doesn't beat Federer at USO then for example.

2005 to 2014, unless RGdal has a bad day at office like in the case of 2009 Soderling, it is impossible to beat RGdal at Philippe Chatrier. And it was, as it was proven time and again.

Djokovic beating Rafa at RG + Djokovic winning RG at the same open, has not happened yet. 9 out of 9 RG finals, Rafa's 100% RG final record. Keep dreaming on with your meaningless hypotheticals, because it did not happen and it would not have happened.

Only RGdal would have beaten himself back then. No one else. In a year where he completed NYCGS, Djokovic is still a Chokovic as witnessed at the USO.

Rafa in easy 3 or max 4.

That's what I said earlier - Beating RAFA in clay masters is totally irrelevant to the chances at RG which was basically nil for anyone in RG final when RAFA was in his prime.

The problem with these hypotheticals is that anything can happen.

For example, if they played the 2011 FO final 100 times, each match would be different than the other. You'd get 100 different matches. What if Nole won 85 and lost 15. Nadal can still win

So the answer to this question is that it depends who plays better on that certain day

But we all know who the alpha male is...and that's Nole. The outcome depends entirely on him. If Nole plays well, Nadal is done. :wavey:

WTF? Djoko would have won? :haha: Abnormal folks with a poco game understanding.:spit:
