Predict rankings (Top 10) at the end of 2017

Not sure if a thread already exists. If so please delete/merge.

Here's My crystal ball gazing:
1. Djokovic ( loses No 1 in the first half of the season to murray but regains it at the end of the year)
2. Murray
3. Thiem (who has a strong clay and first half of the season)
4. Del Potro ( plays a full season and wins a grand slam and has a few other good performances)
5. Raonic
6. Federer ( who begins the year on an ordinary note but closes it strongly with a good wimbledon and WTF showing )
7. Wawrinka ( who has a good first half but enters into a serious decline by the latter half of the season)
8. Pouile
9. Kyrgios ( with deep runs in Wimbledon and USO)
10. Nadal ( who has a good french open but misses part of the season)

Zverev just misses out on the top 10. Nishikori moves out of the top 10 while berdych is in free fall and ends the year below No 20. Other members of the older lot like Tsonga and Ferrer also head out of the top 20.

Yet another only-good-for-being-bumped-for-a-good-laugh-later thread.

"Prediction" in this kind of a thread almost always means "wish" in actuality.

So, I'll go ahead and repeat what Rik said above: Nope.

Nishikori out the top 10 LOL. If anything he'll cement his place as a solid top 4 player.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned....

Re: Predict rankings (Top 10) at the end of 2017

I will have a bash:

1. Djokovic - he will continue to snap up Masters and remain in top spot
2. Murray
3. Nadal - Will win the French and may finish #2
4. Nishikori - expect the usual nothingness
5. Federer - slow start to year before the unbearable botting returns
6. Raonic - loses to Murray ten times in a row
7. Del Potro - if fit
8. Wawrinka
9. Thiem - will win fourteen 250 events and skip slams to play Challengers
10. Dimitrov - surprise package

Berdych to slip, Tsonga to fall badly and Ferrer to just miss out on top ten after an improved year.

I'm never wrong, lads. Never.

Re: Predict rankings (Top 10) at the end of 2017

I reckon:

1. Djokovic (Pretty easy here, even if he slips in form slightly he'll be able to win enough to stay on top)
2. Murray (Probably more 2015 than 2016, so the competition will be closer, but a few slam finals and a Masters or two should settle it)
3. Raonic (If he can finally stay injury-free for a season then this should be pretty achievable)
4. Nishikori (I don't see Nishikori being able to do much special, but he's consistent enough to reach no4)
5. Thiem (Thiem's game's only going to improve and he'll probably stop vulturing once he realises that he can do better from focusing on big events)
6. Wawrinka (Godwrinka finally fails for a season)
7. Nadal (Slow decline)
8. Pouille (If you look at 7-15 in the rankings: Federer, Monfils, Berdych, Thiem, Cilic, Ferrer, Tsonga, Goffin and Kyrgios, a lot of those players are in decline, and Pouille's game's much more special than Goffin's or Nick's.)
9. Kyrgios (Kyrgios is seeming to start to care more, Top 10 should be achievable)
10. Zverev (2016's been a breakthrough year for Sascha, with better seedings he could get enough points to go into Top 10)
