Metz R1: Garcia-Lopez def. Dzumhur 5-7 6-2 6-1

No one seems to report results for these events no more.

Anyhow, nice to see my favourite all-court Spaniard romp through the latter two sets after a tough first set tussle. He literally blew Damir off the court in the last two sets, and from an early break down in the second set as well. Not sure what happened with Damir but he seemed to fade, or just got him game read very easily and bossed by GGL.

The guy has had a pretty awful year but this was a good match for him to get back into action.

Good first set, then Damir ran out of energy having been on Monday morning still in Vilnius (Davis Cup). GGL was lucky to escape that one, in the first hour or so he was pretty poor.

It's all PR... Someone started talking about Coric and now you guys believe he's so wonderful kid, his highest ranking - 84, Dzumhur highest ranking - 87. The same actually. Difference? Coric made it via wildcards - to Basel for example, Dzumhur had to reach it by hard work, on qualies, challengers.

I thought he would be tired after all those long matches but he's obviously still fresh. Disgusting.

Most people on MTF don't actually like tennis and are just here to fanboy the top players. They have very little interest in tennis outside of slams and masters.
