This year there are twelve courts with TV cameras:
Arthur Ashe Stadium
Louis Armstrong Stadium
Grandstand
Court 4
Court 5
Court 6
Court 9
Court 11
Court 12
Court 13
Court 17
Court P6 (Old Grandstand)
Originally Court 10 was supposed to be streamed, but since the surface there appeared to be unplayable, old Grandstand (planned to be out of competitive use and ready only for practices - marked as P6 court) will be used as its replacement, at least in the first week, so ESPN moved their cameras and staff from Court 10 to P6/Old Grandstand.
Coverage from courts 7, 8, 14, 15 and 16 will not be produced.

Talking about ESPN, I see in usopen.org that they do provide Live Stream, but when I clicked it, it is an ESPN3 stream. Do we have to be in the US to access it? Also is it free or not? Because it seems weird adding that live stream if it is paid when you could just access it on the ESPN (although I guess this is a sponsorship I guess which seems kind of a bait to pay stuff :lol.
You need to have valid subscribtion of one of American cable TV or something. When I changed my IP to American it asked me to choose my TV provider and enter login and password.
So in the end it's Eurosport Player for me
The best is still the Australian Open, personally of course -- living in the Philippines, no need for VPN and I think they air all courts (although maybe they miss 1 or 2) all in an easy page.
That sounds about right. The list from post #1 above - Ashe, Armstrong, Grandstand, Court #4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17 - are definitely set up with cameras. Courts #8, 9, 14, 15, and 16 probably don't have any.
analysis of the courts. he doesn't mention the sun factor and that is huge as to why people don't sit on certain cts on a sunny day. the ones with stands facing east fare far better. same w ct 17 and GS the side facing east has many more fans.
heck there's a reason the ref and service line callers face away from the sun.
he calls ct 7 the worst.
