Just don't listen to the hater before me.
Djokovic will be at his best again in this USO.
As who can stop him in the coming years until his decline:
AO: nobody
RG: a really resurgent Nadal (chance: 20%) or a GOATing Wawrinka (chance: 1%)
WB: an improved Dimitrov, an agressive Murray
USO: Cilic if Djokovic has a bad returning day, del Potro if he plays like in '09, maybe Kyrgios if he remains clutch and serves like Sampras.
I predict a Serena like career for Djokovic in his 30s. Should end up with 20-25 slams I think. In fact, at 29 Serena had a similar slam count, 13 I think.
To answer the question - only Djokovic himself can stop him. He is gonna have losses in slams for sure, it won't be utter dominance, but he will break records like a bulldozer if he is healthy and maintains a high level of play.
Or maybe not, this is all speculation of course. But it's just how it seems to me atm.
There is a huge difference in their playing style: Nadal is a claycourter, usually stamps his feet on the ground when he moves, even on hardcourts, thereby straining his knees and joints.
Djokovic is a hardcourter, usually slides on all surfaces, spares his joints thereby.
It is safe to conclude that Djokovic will decline later, because his knees and joints will hold longer due to his playing technique.
The great Troicki can be stopped by the blood testers.
