Umpire Magdi Somat opens up on how the ATP got rid of him

The Tennis Purist: Umpire Magdi Somat opens up on how the ATP got rid of him

A heartwarming story about sexual harassment, corruption and omertà within the ATP. Someone threatened to sue me if I published this, so we gonna see what's going on with that.

I am the Nelson Mandela of MTF

Good read and great drama. If it all happened like that, that's some unfair bullshit.

So when is the kickstarter campaign launching to support your lawyer costs ?

Tennis is corrupt at all levels. It's not surprising if this is true. The sport is completely deserving of its slow decline and death.

Bernardes should call out Nadal's cheating more and get himself banned. Then he could spill the beans.

ATP is a ridiculous organization that grown up in the last 15 years not by him self merit but behind the lights of Nadal and Federer.

Quick. Everyone archive this before the ATP deletes it and kidnaps CK.

Just like Stepanova: If something happens to him, you should know it's not an accident.

You seem to have quite a few connections.

Some of the quotes in the article, maybe I shouldn't laugh...

Not enough, unfortunately. Most people refused to talk to me. I got some confirmations which solidified the story for me, but I couldn't put those in the article. But the latest news is that the BBC might get involved, the same guy who worked on the match-fixing story with BuzzFeed, so perhaps they will be able to get more people to talk.
