Why do you think Federer got all at once "surgery" ?! This guy is cash machine for the game. ATP revenue is 3times bigger than Serena' tour. Serena won 8 or 9 GS after she was out of the game with some serious illness and surgeries. Federer was playing without winning and they got to the point to compare Serena to Federer' career. But they know very well that Fed iS the one who generate a lot of money for them. When Fed shut down his 2016 season just before OG they knew the things got serious and they will lose a lot of money. So they needed to please somehow Fed and as we know Del Potro is a client of Team 8. BOOM all at once Del Potro is in F of OG . Then he got a WC for USO. Lol. He beat #1 player and Nadal. I will not be surprised if Dimitrov got something more as well at USO. Just to convince Fed to get back on tour.

I just can't stand tennis journalists who take themselves so seriously and have absolutely no sense of humour. You're a tennis journalist for crying out loud, that's only one step above TMZ on a good day. No actual journalist takes you seriously.

Keep it up CK, the ATP is a vile organization and they need to be busted ASAP. This is the first real step in the right direction, if the story gets picked up by a major network it might actually cause a very necessary change.

WOw, that reads like a fabricated story. I can't imagine the level of men in ATP is so low. This describes them like some kind of idiots constantly thinking and talking about sex like mentally ill people deprived of any sexual life from small age.
I would not be surprised if few people believe this. Maybe it is true but I just cannot relate this to real life.

In truth, the world is full of such people in organizations, corporations, governments, militaries, churches and in general in positions of power because they know they can behave that way and get away with it. Just go ahead and do a little research on the kind of sexual harassment that goes on in the US military, the kind of sexual behavior politicians involve in and we know very well what certain people in the church do. So, what you call "real" life is based on your assumptions and biases. Maybe the real life you refer to means the life of the ordinary citizen and whatnot. But there are many people such as described in this article that climb into positions of power and unaccountability that allow them to behave in the degenerate way they want to behave.

@Chris Kuerten Wow, going mainstream I see. Hope those players who retweeted you don't get bumped by the authorities, just because they agreed on the article.

Not surprising, did BBC follow this story?

No, none of the big outlets did. Perhaps they will publish small meaningless summaries when the ITF releases their public statement after the appeal period is over, two weeks from now.

Wow just saw this thread today. Pretty shady stuff from the ATP. Unsurprisingly...

Has anything changed for the sexually harrassed female though? Is she still working for the ATP?

Fearlessness is one of the fundamental character traits of press. Someone needs to stand up and call it wrong. One voice or a few voices could make a difference.

Good job Chris.

Meh. Just hearsay nonsense. It's no wonder legit outlets aren't taking it seriously. Of course MTF would eat it up.

She does. She doesn't want to make any further comments on the matter, because it would very likely result in losing her job.

Wow, what an evidence of corruption and cronyism in ATP.
