Thumbs up Was Brad really dissing Duckboy???

yesterday during the Safin-Blake match, Chris Fowler invited Brad into the commentator's booth during the fourth set. Blake had just won the third in a tie-break so the match was getting exciting. So Brad is there talking non-stop as usual and Chris asked him about Duckboy's chances against either Safin or Blake. and Brad said that all he wanted was for them to keeo each other out there for five sets and tire out each other.

seems to me that he was conceding that Duckboy sucks and that he needs luck on his side. if he was my coach i would have wanted him to say something confident like "it doesn't matter which of them he faces bec my Duckboy is gonna spank their ass" or something along those lines. i wouldn't have been praying for good luck! that was a diss IMO.

Q. When you've played as few matches as you have over the last two, three months, did you ever lack motivation to go out and practice?

ANDY RODDICK: Motivation? No. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy what I do. You know, I've never been one to, you know, blow off practice or, you know, do anything like that.

You know, I'd be lying if I said I'm looking forward to practicing the next two days as opposed to playing here. That part is gonna suck...(2010 Aegon Championships)

ahhh, ill humor you... although i hate brad.

most coaches are thinking the same things brad just said... but he's just honest. a tired opponent is an easier opponent... it's all about winning matches, right?
