Why is Djokovic incapable of adapting to different circumstances?

Very wet court? Djokovic clowns.
Very dry court? Djokovic clowns.
Wind? Djokovic clowns.
Blue clay? Djokovic clowns.

Not very champion-like...

This is the correct answer.

Another question that comes to mind is: if Djokovic is the 'BOAT' why do his fans - with chico leading the charge - whine like little girls over every little thing? You'd expect supporters of the so-called 'BOAT' to be exuding confidence in their man, but it seems like every trivial occurence is an obstacle worth going into mass hysteria over...

He needs the perfect conditions plus relaxed time rule plus choking and declined opponents. You do the math.

Yeah, that's why he is NO.1 for more than 200 weeks, because conditions are perfect everywhere.

He finds it tougher in lousy conditions, but who doesn't ? Show me a tennis player who is more consistent than Djokovic with or without perfect conditions.

What makes you say he's incapable? (well, your trolling, obviously, but for the sake of rhetoric...)

If he's playing with caution when the terrain is extremely wet, to avoid injury, that's extremely smart of him.

"Incapable to adapt" would mean he loses every or the majority of such matches, which is the opposite of the truth.

Well on wet clay, his serve is much less of a weapon. Also, he tends to play percentage tennis, but when the ball is very heavy or conditions are strange, perhaps it throws him off a bit, and he feels inhibited. Bautista hits very flat, so perhaps the heavy conditions are giving him a bit more control\accuracy.

In general, poor conditions are a "great leveler", so the better players no longer have their normal advantages.

Perhaps mentally it is tough to deal with, because as No.1 you expect to win, and you feel thwarted by external factors, especially if it's a big tournament missing from your CV.

Dude the conditions are bad and it's not Nole alone struggling. Just take a look at WTA and the top players are having a mare since coming back. Halep, Radwanska(losing 6 games straight) etc.

Not to mention these conditions take away some of Nole's game like sliding which help him a lot to defend and DTL passing shots.

Just because RBA managed to play less shit in crappy conditions compared to Nole doesn't mean things are right. Players are supposed to win by displaying their best out there, not whoever play less shit in horrid conditions

That's right. Djokovic was crushing one of Nadal's peak versions under wet conditions. Not that bad for someone who supposedly can't adapt.

Surprised to see mods support this kind of behavior and Novak bashing attitude. Not funny nor nice at all.

 Another thread to hate and bash Novak.

Haters are pressed indeed.

It's hard to concentrate when in the back of your mind you know that these "circumstances" were manufactured by the rest of the world out of pure jealousy.
