Re: Commentary at its best

Gabashvili lives in Spain these days, but yes that was a very random comment.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Fred Stolle on Acasuso, "He has a lot of variety".

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Re: Commentary at its best

The brit commentator on tennis channel. They show Tony Parker in the stands and he goes "I wonder who that is. They keep showing him so he must be important". British basketball for the win.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

In the same vein, Gimelstob in middle of a match announced that some random player's agent's wife had just given birth. As he attempts to give further details, the producer in the control room cuts to a commercial. Talk about irrelevant ....

McEnroe during the Fed match. "Breaking news there's a challenger next week, Starace vs. Acasuso !!"

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

He can throw a match out of the window in many different ways.

Well, sadly Federico wasn't referring to his choking ability.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I remember the days when she creamed her pants over Joachim Johansson any time she commentated on Eurosport.
