Somebody needs to send Mark Petchey a thesaurus. His use of the word 'sensational' is really quite overstated.

Not sure. Either Barry Millns or the guy sitting beside him.

Good one! LOLOL!

ignore all these people who say you act young, are unbearable, and/or have a low IQ. I'm sure they're all just jealous. Now lets go talk shit about Federer, and then we'll talk about how Rafa is a Spartan!!

Peter Fleming on Nishikori hitting a smash a foot from the net straight at Andujar, following a moonball from Nishikori off an Andujar lob

"Oh please" (during the rally)

Fleming at his finest.

Re: Commentary at its finest

Don't know who this guy commenting on Chardy-Nishikori is, but he's pretty funny, although probably unintentionally.

"Tell you what, once this match is over I'm gonna get myself a cappuccino. Cappuccino in Rome, hmmm... Anyway, let's get back to the match."

"Chardy sounds like a wine. Chardy.. Chardonnay."

Re: Commentary at its finest

this was ages ago during the australian open but i think it was leif shiras who said that some called tennis expert said that murray was the most talented player he had ever seen then the other commentator said what even more than federer. both then began to discuss that yes murray may actually be more talented than federer. these bunch of idiots know fuck all about tennis, even retired players who were great dont know a lot either, that may sound stupid but if you listen to what they say they are clueless. even recently retired players like agassi says he would have no chance against djokovic and that the big 4 are the best of all time

I doubt it was Shiras. Doesn't he only commentate for Sky and the tennis channel? I thought only Eurosport did the AO (as well as a little BBC in the later stages) in the UK, could be wrong.

I agree though, they talk utter, utter nonsense.
