Re: Commentary at its finest

Masur and Rasheed are absolutely dreadful.

Wally "I've got a theory, Roger" Masur just can't help himself. Every match where someone catches the ball toss - In my opinion, that shouldn't be allowed. Once the ball leaves their hand they should be made hit it. He wouldn't be saying that if his pal Rafter was still playing

I was watching a match he was commentating where the umpire made a few overrules. As soon as he did Wally would say, "why is he even getting involved? There's hawkeye he should just stay out of it, he just wants to get some attention and be involved in the match". Every single time, I think it was 3, he made the correct call. Masur proceeded to claim that it was just luck that he was correct.

I hate him.

Molik says stupid things as well, almost always.

Josh Eagle is the only tolerable one in the whole commentary team, and Adam Peacock is a great host - I wish they'd utilize him a lot more. Masur needs fired.

Masur: Azarenka has taken the first set against Anna Tatishvili of Georgia. That's where Joseph Stalin came from.

OMG, this is the best one ever. haha, lol. I actually tried to watch that match for a bit, but I just can't stand Azarenka's screaming so I gave up.

They just flicked over to see the set point, instead I was watching Sharapova screaming

I actually like this combination, I like their brutally honest commentary especially Rasheed, even though Roger comes up with rather some bizarre comments (Djokovic as a top 4 volleyers made me laugh) but seems to be able to analyse the match quite well, if the player is playing shit, he'll say so without really any boundaries. Masur is a bit of a moron though but it's worse when he is paired with Stolle at the French is downright awful. With Rasheed he is bearable. Josh Eagle is ok. Got to agree about Adam Peacock though, great host.

Courier during Isner/Kohlschreiber match said that Jack Sock has one of the 5 best forehands in the world already.

Re: Commentary at its finest

Masur with his catch phrase about any player with a bit of size. Wawrinka "he's been in a very good paddock" and Adam Peacock "well that all Swiss cheese I can understand".

“ On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Ahahaha that's superb

Reminds me of the Olympic coverage, when Rwanda appeared in the procession, Hazel Irvine gave us some historical tidbit before finishing with "...not just a genocide country".

Re: Commentary at its finest

During the Murray/Cilic match, at 2-2 during the third set, some British commentator said 'Cilic may have blown that set but he's a true professional. He'll fight to the end for sure here'.

Doesn't win another game in the match

I love all aspects of TENNIS.

Federer - The Artist
Murray - The Tactician
Nalbandian - The Ballstriker
Llodra - The S/V

Goodall on Eurosport. He's been very boring. Still can't understand the hype.

Btw where the hell are Reed, Bradnam and McMillan? Haven't heard them on Eurosport at all. Bradnam's absence is obviously very encouraging.

Gold by Wilander again.
