Seriously a GS semis doesn't have to do with someone being no.1 in the future!!! michael chang won RG at 17 but never got to #1!!!

VAMOS RAFA!

The Canadian commentary for Montreal is on a whole very cringe-worthy. It makes me embarrassed to be a fan of tennis in Canada.

Haha, yes. He said he saw Bernardes in the hotel gym doing the female/woman workout (don't remember his exact words) of sitting on the bike reading a magazine pedaling occasionally.

Don't feel bad, I think for the most part it seems to suck everywhere around the world. VERY few exceptions.

YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS

Embarrassing bias on Sky...

"We should change the rules for medical timeouts"

He wouldn't be saying that if it was Murray...

That explains a lot of things... But at least he makes an effort to pronounce player's names correctly, unlike Brad Gilbert (who still insists on using the wrong pronunciation when it's pointed out! ). Fowler shouldn't be allowed to commentate, just do some "desk work" between matches. On second thought, ESPN would make everyone's lives happier by firing all their commentators but that would just make too much damn sense.

That just reminded me, a few days ago when Gilbert referred to Javier Sanchez as Jay-vee-ur...

Goodall on Stepanek.

"He is now newly single, so ladies beware, he will be looking for some company". He is 0-2 in engagements, it's not easy passing the ring around".

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Was is goodall with that hilarious imitation of Rafa "Roger's favorite for sure, no?" during the Murray/Potro match? He was talking about Del Potro trying to shift the pressure to the Murray camp, and said Nadal was very good at that.

I heard that. The funny part was when Darren Cahill made fun of him for it.

Mark Petchey again shooting his foot in it by saying Simon has a lot of variety and all the shots in the book, once again trying to hype up this era.

Adler said today that his conducts an orchestra from the baseline, and that he agrees with the other commentator that Simon plays like a maestro.

MTF surely approves.
