Tough question, but beating Nadal definitely did lead to an increase.

When Blake was away from the game, there were the core who were behind him during those times, but now he is established in the top 10, so there will be fits and starts now.

Some players will never have a huge increase in fans and that's a good thing.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I am just pre-rempting a good Wimbledon for Blake, which will obviously gather a few people to chase down that rawhide bandwagon of his.

It won't take long in this place for that to happen.

del Potro is a long term investment for MTF Bandwagon Player of the Month or Year even.

Andy Roddick. Few people 'fess up to being a fan after the glory days of 2003.

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

Re: MTF Bandwagon Player of the Month

Ancic could get another surge if he does well here at Wimbledon, then again Berdych is still going strong for this month.

The next player to beat Federer that isn't Nadal, the bandwagon shares will rise very quickly.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: MTF Bandwagon Player of the Month

Awesome thread Gasquet fans are slowly waking up, but he can get killed by Fed in straight sets in the first round of Wimbledon. On the other hand, I prefer not to know what if Richie won

Ginepri who? That's the way it seems to be.

Re: MTF Bandwagon Player of the Month

I think people want to get on Murray's bandwaggon but he keeps losing so, lol, there's no waggon to speak of.

There should be a poll if more bandwagoners has JMDP, Korolev or Cilic and we might find out JMDP is not a sure winner.

Re: MTF Bandwagon Player of the Month

Murray did have a slight one last year when he was winning and throwing up.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Yea but I think the biggest bandwagon, I have ever seen in my life was either Ginepri last summer, Marcos this January, or Pdorn when he hit the scene in a big way in 03'....

Marcos was shocking and I was lucky cause I was at the venue watching the matches and not on here, but once I got back I saw it.

I remember when Chang started to do well. That was a huge bandwagon for sure.

Roddick had one to an extent, though it was more a build up inititally then a boom and now a plateau.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
