Re: Federer only Wins and Finals to defend until next FO

Federer [On 15 consecutive finals]: "It’s quite exceptional I think. I told my girlfriend, my manager, coach and everybody that after I made the finals in Paris, I only have finals and wins to defend. That’s kind of tough, but I’m happy I keep that streak up. Every week I play in the finals is something unbelievable for me. Because you always hope for the best week and when you make the finals, you walk away not too disappointed even though you might lose some of them. That is really something very nice for me."

That's okay.
He missed some tourneys and lost MC final last year, so he has SOME leeway.

That's sick. Fortunately he can gain some points if he plays the indoor season, but from now on it is probably going to be downhill. I hope he can beat Rafa a couple of times , on faster surfaces I think he would have the upper hand.

I don't like hypocrites, but even worse are the ones who think it's OK to be an asshole as long as you are not hypocritical.

Didn't win Dubai, unfortunately - he lost to Nadal. Should be an 'F'

Re: Federer only Wins and Finals to defend until next FO

So he has Wimbly, Cincy, US Open and Bangkok to defend until the TMC out of which two are GS events.

He better be ready.

Need ideas for a new signature...

Re: Federer only Wins and Finals to defend until next FO

Also, this thread title is misleading.

Federer has only wins and finals to defend from now until he next loses before a final appearance assuming he follows the exact schedule he did last year. As others have pointed out, he has the chance to pick up a lot of points from tournaments he did not play last year.
