Re: Roger Federer def Tommy Haas 6-4 6-7(4) 6-3

well done Roger ,nice to see you keep fighting despite not playing at your best
even though it went to the third 3,i would say that it was an easier match than the last 2 as he looked clearly the dominant player in this match....but he wasted so many BPs (he only converted 2/13)!!

Roger Federer !

Federer: Lord of the Strings (quote borrowed from another MTF-poster)
Safin: His Royal Dork-ness
Hewitt: Mowing a lawn near you
Kuerten: tennis in the shape of a heart
Ollie Rochus: the lil'man that broke Karlovic

He clearly should have won in two sets. So many bps in the 2nd set.

By far Federers best performance this week although he had to play another 3 setter. Pretty consistent. Seems hes getting back on track. Haas fought well and was dictating many of the rallys. Unfortunately, the german also made many UEs.

way to come through! I must say I'm really impressed. He must be so exhausted.

In my opinion yes: he made less UEs.

Having seen the Rochus and the Haas match, I say there was a great increase in his performance.

Fan of: Federer Safin Haas Nadal Santoro Agassi Tursunov's blog

Russophilic member of the MTF Perv Squad--objectifying Tarpischev, Kafelnikov, and Volkov like whoa.

Federer.....got to admire his dedication to the sport and his resilience. Many in his shoes would already have withdrawn from the tournament or retired but here he is, still fighting on for a title that isn't even first tier.

Following the live scores page, it seems that Roger was at the net a lot more today and he was holding serve much easier.

A fair and objective voice amidst the chaos of MTF.
