Darn those shoulder problems! Just when things were getting interesting, I wonder who would have taken the 3rd. Nadal's backhand looks pretty good, forehand naturally not the same weapon though. He had some nice returns and steady volleys. I hadn't seen him play on the grass before, IMO he was doing quite OK.

It's a pity. Considering he's played so many matches of late, it's understandable.

Oh, no! He had taken a set, too. I hope it's nothing some rest won't cure.

Yeah, and the trainer told him that there is a chance he might make it worse if he continues.

Something with his left shoulder yes. I missed the complete info on it.

Wimbly is very close and it isn't the moment to take risks . I have to congratulate Nadal on his great today match after playing like crap yesterday.

Too much play in a short space of time following the French - I guess it was a bit too far for the shoulder.

Needs to rest it for a week and a bit and hopefully he'll be right for Wimbledon.

Lley Continue your run man, you can do it!!!

So Nadal's winning streak is over at 25 matches? It's a shame it ended like this, I would have loved to see Lleyton beat him fair and square...

This is a shame. Nadal played so much better today than yesterday. He really did himself proud I think.

The shoulder looked like it was starting to give him problems at the very start of the second, as he was doing shoulder rolls, etc. between points. I hope that it is just from having so much tennis the past weeks and it is not anything serious. Hopefully rest for a few days will have him in good stead for Wimbledon.

I like a lot of players.
