So Andy Murrray loses

Again. To Tipsarevic. I am telling you, I think that the "big 3" young "phenoms" of Gasquet, Monfil, and Murray are all overrated (they will win probably 1 major title in total), but ESPECIALLY this man. He has a game suited for grass, so who the he11 did he just lose to?

Re: So Andy Murrray loses

He is not improving at all, he is actually getting worse it seems. He is acting like a total asshole on court each match, and just putting in performances far worse than last year. All the other young players are improving month by month in most cases.

He really needs to sort out his tactics, attitude, coaching situation, fitness and lifestyle. He has serious issues to deal with, if he doesnt solve these he is going to stay the same for a few years and be no better.

He does need someone to tell him what an asshole he is being and what a terrible situation he is in (and whats need to be done, and how), and lay it to him straight. He is the kind of guy who I doubt would take any notice of someone who will pussy foot around.

I didn't watch. I just know he's constantly running out of stamina?

But I dunno what happened this match.

He is not suited to grass

His favourite surface is probably indoor carpet where he has won a title and got to a final. After that its hard courts.

He is crap on clay and not so good on grass.

Re: So Andy Murrray loses

I havent really seen much either, but noticed a few things.

Well he is just hitting the ball over the net like a poof , he is barely hitting with any intentions. And he is walking around the court, instead of running to the ball and looking alert and ready. It looks as if he is putting no effort in what so ever (he is constantly causing scenes on court too, shouting at cameramen and swearing all the time). I know players like safin look like this, they arent putting any effort in (but safin seems to generate effortless power because of his timing). Whereas murray is hitting like a pansy.

I am sure there are "many" others, but those were just some things I noticed after watching a few games Hopefully someone else who has been watching him recently can outline.

All the tamper tantrums is a maturity thing, though. That will go away. Federer was like this, too.

Re: So Andy Murrray loses

Well Tipsa was #1 junior and won AO junior, but he's more into dating models, pop singers then playing tennis, maybe this win can wake him up, cause he's better then being ranked #104! Way better...

Somehow, I think this guy murray will be an exception. I really cant see him changing his attitude to being like federer. Its not just the temper tantrums though, its the way her interacts with the officials, press, etc. Its more of an attitude problem I would guess, than an anger/temper problem.

Re: So Andy Murrray loses

Murray was just appalling out there yesterday and today. If he wasn't swearing and mumbling, he was moaning about the courtside photographers , whingeing at the Umpire and officials, and flouncing about like a 2-year-old throwing a tantrum

And I'm sorry - I don't accept this - "he's only young and he will mature" argument. Djokovic is "only young" and always acts with class and respect on court, and Nadal won a Grand Slam while still a teenager. Some people are still immature arse-clowns when they reach 30 - and sadly I feel Murray is one of them. And I agree with Joe that he needs a coach or someone in his life that will really "tell it to him straight" and make him grow up.

Well done to Tipsarevic - he played well and kept his concentration
