Re: news Felix Mantilla?

I would guess he retired, but it seems no news confirming that he has. Whatever, its a great shame. I dont think he was injured during his latest match against coria at the usopen. I have pmed georgew about this, as I expected him to know but I dont think I got any response.

Re: news Felix Mantilla?

Mantilla hasn't officially retired, but it probably won't be long in coming.

He has had a lot of injury problems with his achilles, shoulder among other things.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Probably because he isnt popular, it goes un-noticed. If it was any other player, we would know the situation. But as you say, I think he has retired but it hasnt been reported because of his lack of popularity.

I heard that he has wanted to come back, but the ATP site would have something saying that he has officially retired.

Though Muster did it his way. He just played his last match at RG against Lapentti and walked away without saying anything.
