Easily one of the most interesting masters after 2014. Mostly balanced draw, though Murray has the easiest draw, while Nishikori has the hardest one.

Projected R16

Djokovic-RBA
Raonic-Tsonga
Wawrinka-Monfils
Gasquet-Nishikori
Nadal-Goffin
Federer-Thiem
Berdych-Ferrer
Simon-Murray

Potentially interesting 2nd round matches

Djokovic-Almagro/Coric
Raonic-Dolgopolov
Wawrinka-Kyrgios
Monfils-Kohli/Cuevas
Fognini-Nishikori

Wawrinka-Nishikori section is stacked... Difficult draw for Kyrgios lol

Two obvious short straws for the top guys: Thiem in R3, and Nadal in QF. Fed gets both :)

Monfils has even worse: Anderson, Kohl/Cuevas, Wawrinka/Kyrgios, Nishikori, Djokovic

Murray has Dimitrov early - potentially tricky, but usually he's pretty strong in beating up on players he's recently had a bad loss too. Berdy has proven a difficult clay opponent for him in the past, but that's maybe changed now.

Good draw for Murray, Nadal and Djokovic. Wawrinka has the most difficult draw of the top seeds IMO, but he'll probably lose early anyways Or he could GOAT through the most difficult draw  )Wawrinka-Nishikori would be great if it happens.

Thiem obviously has the worst draw of the seeds, his match against Delpo is the most interesting R1. :)

This tournament will be very interesting, unfortunately I'll be kind of busy.

Extremely difficult draw for Novak.

Uncle Tony and his Spaniard friends obviously pulling some strings to make it happen.

Plus Fedal QF :haha:

And people say there is no draw rigging in tennis.

Trying to think how it's even possible to make Nishikori's draw harder. It's eerily close to the hardest possible. Fog could randomly show up motivated in R2, Gasquet is lurking, Stan is a bad match up on clay, and of course Djokovic.

On the other side of the draw, I'm hoping we get another Fedal.

Interesting draw for Dimitrov to reach a SF and get some momentum, but he also had a good one in Monte Carlo and wasted.

Raonic with a tough opener. Bellucci is at his best in indoor/altitude clay. Former semifinalist here and took a set from 2011ovic in that semi.

Federer draws Nadal in the best possible clay tournament. I think he will win.

Djokovic should win this.
