ATP calender should change! Who agrees?

First of all, its starts of with the hard court season, then cla, then grass. thats stupid. gras is more similar to clay so they should start with the fastest to slowest/slowest to fastest surfaces.

Second, make number of tournaments equal on each surface. maybe that way Feli will save is tennis KIDDING! He got tothe quarters so yea.

3rd of all, NO GRAND SLAMS (rg) during frigin exams! These tourneys re made for the young players! It explains the moody french crowd though.

Nadal~Federer~Baghdatis~Tursonov

Gonzo-Safin-Hewitt-Robredo-Verdasco-Moya-Nalbandian-Roddick-Kolya

"He has no idea what he is writing anymore or who he is writing to. He just puts “lol” and moves on to the next window. The girl is probably telling him that her kittens died and he just says, “lol.” "Tursunov on Monfils

Re: ATP calender should change! Who agrees?

One thing that has to be changed is more time needs to be added between the French Open and Wimbledon. And I've been saying this for 15 years. It's not right that the clay court players who play so much clay court tennis have to go rushing right into the grass court season without taking a much needed break. And that's why alot of tired clay court players skip the grass court season. I don't blame them.

Egalite!

I definitely agree! To have only 2 weeks between the French and Wimbledon is just stupid! Especially as the surfaces are so different and Roland Garros is so physically demanding!

We've already had some suggestions:

ATP Calendar

Also, there's all the grass season threads.

TMS on grass

i like it the way it is now (except it needs to be shortened). trying to win the french and wimbledon within a month of eachother is one of the most challenging accomplishments in all of sports.

Re: ATP calender should change! Who agrees?

I would simply add one more week between Roland Garros and Wimbledon... the first week of the grass season would be with Newport and another tournament in UK, like the nice wta Eastbourne tourney that I adore I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind to have an atp event, if they would then I'm sure there must be a place with nice grass courts somewhere in UK, Germany or Ireland
The other 2 weeks as they're now

Carlos, Tommy, Rafa, Feli, Nicolás, Marcel
Rainer, Radek, Benji Becker, Jarkko Nieminen, Melzer, Nalbandián, Tursunov, Starace, Djokovic, Youzhny
