this place is going to turn to shit after the RG final

you people need to realize that supporting a winning player doesnt make you better than anyone else. you're not the one playing out there you're just sitting on your couch watching the professionals play. when your favorite player wins dont act act all smug like you owned someone. you didnt do anything except watch it happen.

im tired of seeing all these rafa v fed topics where alll everyone jerks off to their favorite player and then flames anyone who supports the other player

grow up please thanks

I will be taking a lengthy sabbatical from MTF either way, I've decided.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Nadal is clearly the favorite and I am pretty sure that he thinks he is contrary to what he may publicly say. If he wins on Sunday, nobody will or should be surprised (including Fed fans). I think after Rome, peace will be maintained and we will have rational discussions on this board. Um....who am I kidding?

Need ideas for a new signature...

Maybe a good idea.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

I thought you were going to do that if Roger won. Changed your mind after all these intelligent threads have you?

I think that 95% of the posters think this way as well, so don´t you worry.

I was, but then I realised that either way it will be nigh-on unbearable. I'm going to put my feet up, watch a couple of sporting events on grass, one fairly small and one extremely big, and try to forget this place for a little while.

I just avoid GM in general after finals whether Fed wins or loses, and with the premium members getting priority its not always my choice

My great tennis loves-Roger Federer, Paul Henry Mathieu and Marat Safin

Grigor Dimitrov & David Goffin - The future of tennis

Allez - Jerzy Janowicz, Jose Acasuso , Lleyton, Djokovic, Nalbandian, Clement, Nicolas Almagro, Stanislas Wawrinka

Ai Se Eu Te Pego - Michel Telo
