Re: Australian Open on TV

the time delay in Australia suck for us in the eastern time zone. This is why all the american channel lose money during the Sidney Olympic.

I hate knowing the result first. It takes out the fun of stressing over your faves.

Re: Australian Open on TV

yeah totally!!! That will happen in AO I'm sure, well for me anyway since my faves will most likely get some night matches that we'll get in the US only on tape delay

That's why you don't go online to find out the results until you watch the matches on tape delay.

Re: Australian Open on TV

What sucks about the scheduling is that I won't be able to see a good portion of the matches due to the times coinciding with some of my classes (the tape-delayed matches during the day time here in the U.S.)

This means I'll have to be tape the matches while I'm gone, and since I have some cheap vcr, I won't be able to set the time. I'll have to end up recording all the useless and totally irrelevant non-tennis material as well (per the usual).

Re: Australian Open on TV

yes I will have a problem with classes and tape-delayed.

I was able to pretty much keep myself from looking at the scores online during TMC so I might try that again, the only problem is that I have to be on to gather news and pics and stuff for the site and waiting to see it on tape-delay will put me horribly behind I think.
