When Nadal finally beats Fed on grass

For some reason, I don't understand why everyone hates Nadal, he seems like he is a nice kid, and he is not arrogant at all, but everyone seems to have a disdain torwards him.

Everyone is talking about how great Federer is and how many grandslams he is going to win, but I think Nadal is going to be a chink in his high and mighty armour. What is going to be said when this kid finally learns how to play on grass? He has stated that he does want to be number one and he wants to win Wimbledon.

Rafa has to make the finals at wimbledon for that to happen. There are plenty of guys who can beat Rafa on grass before then

That should say 'Rafa will not and cannot beat Fed on grass.'

Still a poor sentence but at least you wouldn't be contradicting yourself.

Re: When Nadal finally beats Fed on grass

Not everyone hates him not even close. But the minority are vocal. Rafa is very popular throughout Europe. It's really a French and only French thing. As far as Wimbledon, I really do think he will find a way eventually. But I'm a Rafa fanatic, so I have to believe.

Re: When Nadal finally beats Fed on grass

Rafa might win Wimbledon, but not for a long time. He needs to beef up his serve and change his game somewhat... and then he needs to be a little lucky.

He won't beat Federer right now on grass anyway, and might never be able to do that... unless Federer's block against Nadal would even extend to the cow pastures.

Re: When Nadal finally beats Fed on grass

Federer only fans I dont wanna hear ur opinion! Jk...

I believe that rafa can achieve this goal once, maybe twice. We need to give him a few years. He kind of has to "study" for it like a test. This year, im hoping he gets past the 3rd round and im hoping that he does well in Halle for some confidence. He said that his problem on grass is his serve and even more his confidence and that can be worked on. As for the other slams, he has a chance of winning AO and USopen many times in his coming career

NOT A CHANCE. I MEAN FOR GOOOODS.

I doubt even he'll reach semi. Let alone to final and beat Fed....
And if Fed doesnt't play, there must be somebody else will kick his ass...
His room just and only in French and that's not safe as long as Fed exist in this planet.

Re: When Nadal finally beats Fed on grass

I'm looking forward to seeing Rafa play at Queens. I admire the fact that he wants to do well on grass.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

there was once people said nadal RG 2005 is a fluke
there was once people said nadal will never win a title on hard court....
there was once people said nadal will never win a title indoor
there was once people said nadal cannot beat federer again (after RG SF 2005)
(i can dig out all those posts when i got time...)

message to bring home:
never underestimate nadal's ability. he is just 20...

what was federer doing at 20? seriously

(then people bring up hewitt....)

still... too early to exclude nadal's chance on grass....
