Re: Laws of MTF

If it was inaccurate (and it wasn't...but that's not what's being discussed here anyway), it would make more sense to refute the remarks rather than trying to insult me and still manage to do a poor job of that too. Either way, she wanted evidence and she got it.

Re: Laws of MTF

Once a player defeats Federer, the bandwagon increases quicker than the birth rate with African nations.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I can only imagine the popularity Oscar Hernandez will get once he beats Federer in Wimbledon this year.

NALBANDIAN / SAFIN / FERRERO / MOYA / LUCZAK / DEL POTRO

Berdych - Andreev - Acasuso - Mathieu - Tursunov - Gaudio - Simon

Vliegen * Malisse * Chela * Zabaleta * Gasquet * Calleri * Djokovic * Starace

Retired and not so active players¬

SJENG SCHALKEN [] PAT RAFTER [] THOMAS MUSTER [] GUGA KUERTEN

Oscar is resting up this year and is watching Spain in the World Cup and as the Bye said in his blog that he will be getting ready to peak for the 2007 champs.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

When he wins the celebrations will be huge.

Another rule, players are cheats when they use timeouts against a fave and disgraceful, but when they do it, it's called good tactics.

I don't like hypocrites, but even worse are the ones who think it's OK to be an asshole as long as you are not hypocritical.

the bigger the 'i'm leaving' announcement is, the less likely that a user will actually leave mtf. People who do leave here never give notice, they just disappear.

Re: Laws of MTF

We need to quantify these laws a bit, so i will give it a shot:

The number of supporters of a given player increases proportionally with the players' rate of success but the number of haters increases exponentially with the player's rate of success.

Salvor Hardin: "Violence is the last refuge of the incompetent"

From Isaac Asimov's "Foundation".

Re: Laws of MTF

The only players with talent are Santoro, Safin, and maybe Federer. Everyone else is a hack. (Law of Nadal)

Fan of: Federer Safin Haas Nadal Santoro Agassi Tursunov's blog

"I couldn't even tell you who the No. 1 ranked tennis player in the world is right now," Federer said. "It's probably me, still. It is, isn't it?" The Onion

Russophilic member of the MTF Perv Squad--objectifying Tarpischev, Kafelnikov, and Volkov like whoa.

Re: Laws of MTF

Everytime ESPN shows tennis for a tournament, a thread is created to revel in how pathetic the broadcasts are because MTF's constituents have a tough time in being grateful for what they get. AD's law.

This is true. I still think of Conan the Librarian from time to time.
