Moya v Hewitt in Sydney

Moya is on fire & has a great record v Hewitt
when he's on. He absolutely killed Robredo & Ferreira, & Hewitt's game fits
his strengths perfectly

6-3 6-3 to Moya

I think Moya will win. He´s got to be very confident a the moment. But I exspect Hewitt to be very motivated and therefore taking it to three stes.

I like them both, I'm happy with either winning and I think it's awesome to see them both in such great form.

When's the last time anyone went into the AO with a 10-0 record?????

On current form you've got to go with Moya. He's been cruising during this event whereas Hewitt's had some very close shaves. But then again, since when has Hewitt ever done things the easy way?

Moya will probably win but Hewitt will push him all the way and I wouldn't be surprised if he actually pulls through in a tight 3rd set. Whatever the result, I dont think it will be a straight sets affair.

I just hope that Lleyton doesn't gorge himself on the entree and waits for the main course next week.

Go Carlos just go and do your job again

cant remember someone who went 10-0 before but we could have TWO this yr.

1999, Thomas Enqvist won Adelaide and then Kooyong.
Then he took out Philippoussis and Rafter and made final (won 1st set vs Kafelnikov, and lost in 4)

Vamos Carlos!

Go Lleyton!

(can't decide who to root for )

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: Re: Moya v Hewitt in Sydney

I bet Hewitt wins this time, he'll be going for his shots and not letting Moya bully him from the baseline with the forehand.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

errrr, i guess Moya in a 3rd set tie-break just a random guess, the winner of this event doesn't really bother me either way

Andy Roddick.Fernando Verdasco.Richard Gasquet.Tommy Haas
