Smile D. Nalbandian (3) defeats N. Davydenko (6): 6-3, 6-3, 2-6, 6-4

Great win David

I thought it would be more difficult than this, was Davydenko injured or something
In the third set Koyla seemed more confortable and Nalby began missing. When Davydenko won it i was expecting the worst .
Luckily Nalbo managed to win the fourth, despite a good effort from Davy .

Anyways, Another semifinal in a Grand Slam for Nalby, i hope that this time he'll win the whole thing, but i seriously doubt it.

Good luck against Federer

Good match. Both players were playing very aggressive.

I hate so much following matches on the scoreboard. Can anyone tell us how David played? I was very impressed with Davydenko's game against GG and I'm actually surprised that David won this match. I was quite pessimistic.

Nalbandian - JMDP - Djokovic - Nadal - Mathieu - Verdasco - Coria - Tipsarevic - Nieminen - Calleri

Great job, Nalby! He was clearly the better player on court but then tuned out in the third set where Davydenko started going for broke and hitting a lot of winners. David managed to regroup in the fourth though.

Entertaining match, but so frustrating for Davydenko fans. He gives so many gifts and overhits so many mid-court balls! He easily could have broken twice or three times in that 4th set, especially with 0-40 at 2-1 and all the momentum.

That one point was ridiculous when Davydenko hit that crazy swinging volley too hard but it knocked David in the leg and he won the point anyway. I think David was shocked and not prepared to dodge a tennis ball.

Congrats to David on another solid Slam. He keeps knocking on the door and eventually he will break through. Maybe this week.

Nalbandian was steady for the most part while Davydenko was hitting more winners and way more errors. David got frustrated with missed chances in the 3rd set and started to lose his cool, but he did pick up his game and especially his serve in the 4th.

That seemed to be very frustrating. Davy got lucky.
