Is there any way to beat Nadal?

Hmm i know easy in theory hard in practise! But at one stage somebody (maybe Roger) will catch Nadal on an off day and his Clay streak will come to an end! How can one guy win forever?

With a bat, while he is sleeping.

P.S. Kidding people! I do not condone beating Nadal with a bat while he is sleeping. While he is awake he is fair game.

If Fed can lose off the clay, then Nadal can lose on clay.

Re: Is there any way to beat Nadal?

Give him a bunch of bananas.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Re: Is there any way to beat Nadal?

Nobody will beat Nadal on clay, he will retire in 2018 with a 2632 match streak in this surface

NALBANDIAN / SAFIN / FERRERO / MOYA / LUCZAK / DEL POTRO

Berdych - Andreev - Acasuso - Mathieu - Tursunov - Gaudio - Simon

Vliegen * Malisse * Chela * Zabaleta * Gasquet * Calleri * Djokovic * Starace

Retired and not so active players¬

SJENG SCHALKEN [] PAT RAFTER [] THOMAS MUSTER [] GUGA KUERTEN

Who knows? Blake seems to know how to do it on hard court, but for the life of me, I don't know who/how it will happen on clay.

Emotions of a Safin fan

I smell bagels!!! Lots of them!!!

That's impressive, yes, but for Nadal, it isn't impossible.

Re: Is there any way to beat Nadal?

Only Fed can beat him at the moment on clay and he will on Sunday.

Also I think Nadal will be nearly unbeatable on clay for another 1-2 years. From then on he will steadily decline and become beatable again, just like Ferrero and Coria did.

ROGER FEDERER

Berdych, Blake, J. Johansson, Ljubicic, Nalbandian and Tursunov

2005 PAW Year-end ranking: 1
2006 PAW Year-end ranking: 1
2007 PAW Year-end ranking: 6

Career titles (7): 2004 – Toronto AMS; 2005 – Monte Carlo AMS, Roland Garros, Kitzbühel; 2006 – Doha, Beijing; 2007 - Kitzbühel.
Finalist (3): 2005 – Miami AMS, Barcelona; 2006 – Bastad.

Re: Is there any way to beat Nadal?

No Nadal is in a class of his own..to think he will stoop to Coria or Ferrerro's level is underestimating the kid...he has the physical ability to outshine those guys....those guys are wimps...no physique...plus his unique left hand ability is refreshing to watch....much like how Rios was hard to play against

Re: Is there any way to beat Nadal?

The backhand is a weak bad-looking shot, it should be attacked.
