The FFT's Super Shit WTA Signal

They don't move to Chartrier when Fed & Berdych come on court. Instead, they show the last set of Blake/Monfils, followed by Blake's chat with Ramos, followed by a look at the draw, then the end of a women's match, then results so far today, then bloody musicians & a f***ing scenic tour of Paris, before finally moving to Chartrier. What an absolute joke. Disgraceful.

edit: this year's coverage has been much better than last year's, but way too much dedication to women's matches.

Re: The FFT's Super Shit Signal

well calm down, it's normal to show a final set with a french player, against the wolrd N°8, instead of the begining of a 1st set
after I agree with you for the music and so on

Fed whooped his butt nice and easy. Many errors by Berdy at the beg. of the first set... you didn't miss much... what was Blake complaining about w/Ramos though?

Well, I wasn't really watching, or listening, but it was stuff like this: he was asking Ramos if he'd ever played at a high level, telling him he (Ramos) didn't perform at a high level (today), that he (Blake) doesn't complain to the umpire often, so when he does, like now, he's got a point. I think the commentators said it was something to do with Monfils distracting him near the end or something...?

Anyway, I haven't read the Monfils respect thread but I'm sure there'd be better info in there than what I came up with, not to mentionn clearer

absolutely, I was on the Chatrier and I almost fell asleep.. ( and then I saw first set of Mauresmo and flee back home ) Acutally my best match today was Mahut/Benneteau beating Youznhy/ Tipasrevic) the only thing thath put some atmosphere was the time they show Gael's victory on the screen, ppl were clapping more than for this boring match ( and anyway we could heard of all the sound of court n°1 and we knew Gael has won before we saw it on screen)

Because sometimes, you just need the obvious to be stated.
