Hewitt or Nadal?

Hewitt is 3-0 over Nadal...maybe because they have similar defensive game? las time they played was in AO 2005 and it wasa Hewitt victory (5 7 6 3 6 1 6 7 2 6)

could he beats Nadal on clay?

Re: Hewitt or Nadal?

i can imagine it being a good match, but at the same time hewitt hasnt played any heavyweight claycourter, and as it is his only 2nd clay tourny, i dont see it happening. Nadal will win for sure, but i could see hewitt giving him a little scare.

Nieminen- The lucky lefty of tennis.
Sampras- The hairy champion of tennis.
Ferrero- The mosquito of tennis.
Srichaphan- The Thai- ger of tennis.
Safin - The of tennis.
Bagdatis- The quotesman of tennis "my coach will watch, i will sleep with my girlfriend"
Kiefer- The naive guy, "yeh, me and seb are good friends"
Santoro- The double handed wizard of tennis.
Lopez- IS my hair right? IS my lipstick right?
Moya- The tatoo and muscles of tennis (although nadal kicks his ass in that department).
Tipsarevic- The tatoo of tennis, competing with moya.
Djokovic- Stole Jiri's surname

Sorry if I left out your favourite, just PM me to let me know-- thanks.

I hope Rafa can win!

But I have to give Lleyton credit - he's come back nicely here.

Re: Hewitt or Nadal?

rafa..i think if he was able to take hewitt to five sets at the beginning of last yr at hewitt's home slam, when he was still relatively unknown-i.e had only one title back then...then i don't think he'd have much problem making the h2h 1:3 at roland garros this yr.

the only thing that is against rafa is his long match that he played today but rafa is very fit and he has a day off tomorrow so it shouldnt be too much of a problem...at least i hope not!!

Re: Hewitt or Nadal?

Nadal, in 4 sets, but Lleyton will give him a good run for his money. Then whip him again in the grass and hardcourt season. I don't see Nadal's invincible aura lasting far into the second part of the year with the other specialists coming into play. On clay though...well, that's another matter. *roots for Lleyton anyway*

Roger Federer

- Lopez - Hewitt - Tursunov -

Re: Hewitt or Nadal?

i didnt know that hewitt had such a better head to head
should be a very interesting match
I cannt think that hewitt on clay can pose too much problems for rafa
what i saw from Mathieu, the power & accuracy on his serve
I cannt see hewitt doing that
Rafa need to recover fast 3 2omorow
