Monfils vs Blake moved to Court No1

hEnMaN

"It really annoys me when I hear the criticism that Tim has to suffer.

"He was No 4 in the world but could anybody really say that David Beckham or Gary Lineker or Michael Owen were ever the No 4 footballer in the world? They were not.

"Outside the tennis world, Tim has never received the credit he deserves. His record at Wimbledon is amazing - four semi-finals there, plus two others.

"But it seems that if Tim Henman doesn't win Wimbledon, he is a failure. Well, he is not a failure in my book. He is a supremely talented, supremely successful tennis player. We are lucky to have him."
- John Lloyd

Re: Monfils vs Blake moved to Court No1

It makes sense, rather than have the possibility that the match won't finish. The Nadal match is taking so long

Re: Monfils vs Blake moved to Court No1

Correct decision of course. It's a usual routine to move (last) matches to another court when another one is probably taking too much time which was not taken into consideration when making the schedule of the day.

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

The Blake match is taking a while to start on Court 1. Nadal might be finished before they get out there.

Re: Monfils vs Blake moved to Court No1

It just started. Too bad, I would have loved to see it. But it'll possibly wont be finished today anyways, so we'll be able to see the rest of the match tomorrow.
