By Country...

Same deal as with the letter thread.

Limited myself to 4 players per country, otherwise it gets too long.

Australia: Hewitt, Philipoussis, Luczak, Guccione

Belgium: Malisee, O. Rochus, C. Rochus, Vliegen

Chile: Gonzalez, Massu, Capdeville, Garcia

Croatia: Ljubicic, Ancic, Karlovic, Cilic

Czech Republic: Stepanek, Berdych, Dlouhy, Vik

France: Gasquet, Grosjean, Monfils, Mathieu

Germany: Haas, Kiefer, Kohlschreiber, Phau

Great Britain: Henman, Rusedski, Murray, Bogdanovic

Italy: Bracciali, Seppi, Volandri, Sanguinetti

Russia: Safin, Andreev, Davydenko, Tursunov

Spain: Nadal, Robredo, Ferrer, Almagro

Sweden: T. Johansson, J. Johansson, Soderling, Bjorkman

Switzerland: Federer, Wawrinka, Bastl, Heuberger

United States: Roddick, Agassi, Blake, Ginepri

My choices:
Best serve: Croatia
Best forehand: Spain
Best backhand: Argentina
Best volleys:
Favourites: Germany
Best on clay: Spain
Best on grass: Federer
Looks: Spain (where are all the hot spanish women players? )

I agree with you in most of your choices.

Best Serve: Croatia easily.
Best Forehand: Spain (most of them have big forehands as their main weapon)
Best Backhand: Argentina by far (Nalbandian, Coria, Gaudio, Acasuso, Puerta... all great backhands)
Best volleys: a difficult one... there are some great volleyers, but I think not more than one in any country...
Best on Clay: Spain, yep nothing to argue here...
Best on Grass: USA or Australia or Switzerland, France has some good players to play on grass too.

Re: By Country...

I think Great Britain and Croatia have the best volleyers. Rusedski and Henman are probably slightly better than Ancic and Karlovic but I think Ljubicic is also a decent volleyer. I don't know about Bogdanovic and Cilic but, based on the others, I would rate Croatia slightly higher.

If Australia had Wayne Arthurs, I would rate them quite highly too.

Re: By Country...

Ancic is a decent volleyer, but you got to give it to GB and Henman by default
