Re: Onto the third round...

After 2 practice matches Roger will need to start playing.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

3 former French Open champions in the bottom of the 2nd quarter but imo Davydenko has the better chances of reaching the quarters.

Re: Onto the third round...

Davydenko is certainly the player that's has been in the best form recently and he is the best choice for the quarterfinals.
Davydenko has a good chance of repeating last year's run at this tournament, Something that almost everyone predicted he wouldn't do.
Maybe i'm speaking too soon but although i adore Moya, Ferrero and Gaudio (and would love to see any of them in the quarters) i don't see them giving the russian too much trouble.

NALBANDIAN / SAFIN / FERRERO / MOYA / LUCZAK / DEL POTRO

Berdych - Andreev - Acasuso - Mathieu - Tursunov - Gaudio - Simon

Vliegen * Malisse * Chela * Zabaleta * Gasquet * Calleri * Djokovic * Starace

Retired and not so active players¬

SJENG SCHALKEN [] PAT RAFTER [] THOMAS MUSTER [] GUGA KUERTEN
