I love Fleming

The comment he made about the one person looking forward to Christmas is Chela's wife, after he picked up $50,000 for being an alternate

"$50, 000 doing nothing, WOW!"

New Low for ESPN Tennis Coverage

ESPN has now reached a new low in the history of televised coverage in the United States. They, while the current #2 player in the world is playing on Rod Laver Arena, are showing a WTA DOUBLES MATCH instead!!!!!!!

Pathetic beyond words. Yes, the Williams Sisters are playing, but come on!!!!!!!

And to add insult to injury, they have the geriatric crew of Bud Collins and Dick Enberg.

Thanks for the gutsy run, Phillies!!! World Series Champs...2010!!!

Whatever. At least I have ESPN 360. As long as they give me that, they really can't do any wrong.

wat.

Re: New Low for ESPN Tennis Coverage

The key words are Williams Sisters who combined have achieved more than Rafa will. Actually, separately, they each have achieved more than Rafa will. Besides, it was for just 10 minutes. They're back on Rafa's match now.

Re: New Low for ESPN Tennis Coverage

this is why the popularity of tennis will struggle to grow in North America. Instead of opting for quality, they figure, hey these players are American, so people will want to watch that instead.

To be completely fair, I don't know if they are right or wrong. But I as a tennis fan DO NOT appreciate it one bit.

Sorry, but Rafa, even if he retires now, has already achieved more than both sisters combined.
