BBCi just said they're staying on Chatrier all day tomorrow.

That means we see all of the matches:

Mathieu vs. Nadal
Blake vs. Monfils

They should have stayed with Nalbandian/Tursunov instead of moving to Federer/Massu in the first place.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Re: BBC/Eurosport/Sky Sports/ Etc - Coverage, Moan Thread!

Couldn't believe Eurosport showed Nadal blasting Kim and only a few minutes every so often of Gaudio/JCF. Hated the commenatary as well - going on how Hingis was a set and a break up while gaudio and JCF had only played 3 games - and then the same in the Nadal match. All very negative. I guess it was too 'bleeding obvious' for them to work out Hingis was playing a no-name and Nadal was playing a 'lucky loser' qualifier who hadn't won a match on clay for a year.

I think for me the most talented of all times was (Marcelo) Rios. Marat Safin, 2004

Marcelo has an enormous talent. Gaudio, RG champion 2004

"Rios ... he has a beautiful game, great forehand and great touch," Federer, World number 1

Guillermo Coria: "Ríos and Vilas are my two idols"

Far too much WTA today as well - Mauresmo, Dementieva, Sprem/Venus - what happened to Nalbandian? or Moya?

Absolutely! That Gaudio Ferrero match from the little bits I saw of it seemed to be a great contest with awesome tennis.

But noooo, instead of that we were forced to watch poor Kevin Kim get totally mauled by the pig!

Incidentaly, here in Israel ESPN also covers RG and they showed the Nadal match in it's entirety without even occassionaly flipping over to Gaudio/JCF- so I guess that makes them even worse than ES

You guys are lucky!!! They didn't even show BITS of Ferrero-Gaudio. They showed the full Nadal-Kim match without interruptions apart from the ad breaks!! I've always said that if I go to a GS one day I'd rather see a great contest in a match with a fantastic atmosphere than Fed or Nadal bashing some idiot to pieces in a boring match. Yet, they decided to bore us at home. Fools!

anybody watching coverage that is not ESPN in the USA has no right to complain cause thats the worst that it can get...i dont have a problem with the womens matches but for God sake's, when the match ends, go to some other match instead of talk, highlights and other crap. and dont repeat matches you showed earlier in the day either
