How is Goffin a pusher? He plays quite similar to Davydenko, is quite small and doesn't have any huge weapons but times the ball well and takes time away from his opponents. He's a very naturally talented player.
It was just a comment using MTF's terminology.
He's basically a very solid and boring baseliner. All he does is to stay in the baseline hitting the ball to one side and another, pretty much at the same pace every time. That's why he's always badly exposed by the top players.
Of course he takes the ball early, it's his only chance against physically stronger players than him (like 95% of the ATP field).
I wonder how such a talented player has so much trouble to capitalize on short balls when he needs to use his own pace and also to finish points at the net.
