Diego Hartfield - Top 5?

He got 13 games off Federer, while Federer won 20. Therefore Hartfield is 65% as good as Federer. Federer has 7010 rankings points, 65% of 7010 is is 4556. So Hartfield is really number two in the world.

Re: Diego Hartfield - Top 5?

I only got to watch a part of the match on live stream, but looking forward to seeing it on tape delay this afternoon.

Diego showed heart.

I'll be watching him to see how he does in the upcoming months. Hopefully his performance today will give him confidence, and he can use it to move up the rankings.

that's a funny way of calculating someone's potential

He will be there by the end of 2007 at the latest.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Diego Hartfield - Top 5?

He has a good game on him.

needs to learn to handle the pressure points better but that often comes with a bit of experience - still an impressive debut on the world stage at this level.

He should make at least top 50 and could go a fair bit higher if the execution catches up with the excellent shot selection and strategy, especially at those tense moments.

The commentator said he could play for Austria. Did he ever talked about this possibility?
