It's been almost 2 years since Nadal last won a big title.

But his current form says that winning big titles is just a matter of time. The conclusion we can make based on Rafa's performance in IW is, Nadal is back. Rafa bageled his opponents twice in a row, showed the balls by saving a matchpoint and had a setpoint against one of the most dominating players tennis has ever known.

Nadal's body serve is a real weapon these days. Djokovic suffered so much from that.

FDTL also works

So, Rafa is very solid now and is going to become Djokovic's biggest threat next months.
But my question is about the remaining part of Nadal's career, not only about next months. How successful will Rafa be? What do you guys think?

Objectively, I believe he will win mostly 250 and 500 tournaments from now on. I still believe he might have a fairytale run at RG, but the stars have to align :)

My guess: 1 clay masters , 2 500 titles (1 on hard and 1 on clay), about 5-10 250 titles.

That's a lot of titles! 5-10 250s?? Have you seen him playing?

He made the final of one 250 so far this season and got absolutely destroyed...

Judging from the courtside 1080p 60fps seat, it looks like he's back.

I think he still has a chance to win 10th RG title this year or next year (but I already said it after his decent autumn). As for other slams he's probably done.

Raonic fans would have to set up a permanent base at some bar in that case >:)

it's interesting. I think he would have won iw if someone took out djokovic. But then fed would have 20 slams if people could take out djokovic.
25*

@Leo I was mainly thinking that with the slow progress of the young players, Nadal would benefit from it and win some small events, even at 30-32 years of age.It was mainly based on the fact that he would remain competitive for a few years. However, I did kind of regret it after posting so quickly, since 3-5 would be more realistic. :)

:haha:
Funniest stuff. RAFA is the clay goat with 9 RG titles and Faker has the same number of RG as you and me. Who should require the other to avoid? Faker can't stop RAFA from winning 3 clay masters this year.
