I know that Safin has been playing this year few matche,s but is he back to complete health?
I know Norman is/was considering retirement.
I haven't heard any news of Haas in SIX months.
thanks

Safin played the Hopman Cup, don't know if he's fully healthy, but I think he played all his matches.
Magnus(?) Norman is injured again and is considering another operation, he won't play AO.

Marat's playing the Australian Open, and is all-healthy, except maybe a blister on a finger. Hits the ball well, but still not like before. Many unforced errors. But you can judge his condition with this: he beat his worst nightmare Sontoro and Jiri Novak (no.13). He is training ib Melburne Mark now.

Anastasia Myskina, Marat Safin thank you.

Marat was playing in the Hopman Cup in Perth last week...I was at all his matches and he was playing absolutely brilliantly considering they were his first matches after such a long time...he beat Santoro and Novak and lost a very close match to Blake. He said in one of his matches his wrist was a little sore but then it was ok. The only other problem he had was a blister on his hand, but nothing too serious. I would say *touch wood* that he is in good form for the Open...especially as this week he is resting and just practising in Melbourne. I'll be there to see his matches at the Open and hope his great form continues.

I forgot to add that although he serves very well, Marat had developed a habbit of making footfoults

Yeap, he won't be at the AO, but I read somewhere that he's considering to return on last days of February or March, though I don't see it too factible....

Haas won't make it to the AO either (last I heard).

Congrats to Andy Roddick, 2017 Hall of Fame!

Yeah...it's just that...come on? It's already about more than 2 years since he played "at his level".
