Indian Wells QF: Goffin def. Cilic 7-6(4) 6-2

Really happy for Goffin Hopefully he can build some confidence based on this tournament.

Cilic on the other hand shows why his slam win is one of the biggest mysteries in mankind.

Edit: Forgot the score line, 7-6 6-2 it was

It's all PR... Someone started talking about Coric and now you guys believe he's so wonderful kid, his highest ranking - 84, Dzumhur highest ranking - 87. The same actually. Difference? Coric made it via wildcards - to Basel for example, Dzumhur had to reach it by hard work, on qualies, challengers.

Re: IW QF: Goffin beats Cilic

Really deserved win by Goffin. Some of these BH winners.

Cilic played bad, especially from the baseline, where he was dominated by David.

Support:

Offensive baseliners: Klizan, Bellucci, Thiem, Djokovic, Wawrinka, Del Potro, Gulbis

Players with great touch and others: Federer, Mahut, Goffin, Gombos, Mannarino, Bollelli, Bautista-Agut, M. Zverev

I can't even, only Cilic knows how he did not win the first set.

Re: IW QF: Goffin beats Cilic

Well done Goffin. I'm very happy for him.

He seemed to be in trouble when he faced those 4 set points at 5-6 and then got 1-3 down in the tie-break. But he played very solid afterwards. And Cilic? He was nowhere in that second set.

I love the way Goffin plays. He has some beautiful shots. He just need to believe in himself and keep his focus during the match.

Stats :

Cilic literally gives a game out of nowhere and now is 0-8 in Masters 1000 QF.

Goffin's fairytale run continues

It's up to Raonic to save tennis and book his place in the final.

I'm starting to become a fan of him. I have abstinence from Nieminen quiting the tour. Goffin seems to be a good substitute

Hopefully he can achieve a bit more than Jarkko. He is a good age, he is basically a part of generation useless. So if he peaks when the top 4 are limping and the young people are choking he could achieve some things and be a top tenner.

He is a talented baseliner, so I am very happy that he has made it to a semi. I am also happy for the comedy of Cilic losing. No one can ever take away his slam win but we can laugh at him.

I think that Goffin should beat Raonic if he manages to not choke. That would be awesome. And hey who knows. Last year he threatened Djockovic in Cincy? Maybe he can win this entire tournament. At least that's what I'm hoping
