Re: MARAT WON (again)

Yes, he hung in there and gained more valuable match practice.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Great work Marat! Down a set and a break and he still pulled it out. Shows he is willing to fight this year!

Re: MARAT WON (again)

Mister Q, Safin has it in him, it's a just a question whether he wants to do it consistently. Actually on that 5 set record post I posted a while ago, he has one of the better ones, he can do it. Now he just needs to fight, just like when he had Chesnokov as his coach.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

there are two certainties on MTF. A new thread will be made whenever Safin wins or Roddick loses.

Or when Hewitt loses.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I don't think so George. Hewitt loses are to be expected almost anytime.

Re: MARAT WON (again)

Too bad his last major victories were against Federer and Ferrero. Once he starts playing on the main tour, the Potato thread will wake up from its slumber.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: MARAT WON (again)

What was that in reference to Wyver? I will explain it again once Hewitt starts losing on the tour, the Potato peeler thread equiv to the Duck hunt will become more active.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

As far as I am concerned he hasn't stopped losing for a while. For Hewitt hate threads to surface, Hewitt would actually need to win a major again, and that will happen when pigs fly.

Re: MARAT WON (again)

Thanks for clearing that WyverN. So, you think he needs to win a Slam or TMS for the hate threads to surface?

If he starts performing consistently, and acts on court like he has in the past, it won't take long to surface.

Yeah I think a player is more hated when he is close to the top. Many hated Sampras just because he was #1 for so long.

In these forums you have a lot of people sweating on Andys every match, hoping that he will lose. I bet close to the same was happening 12 months ago with Hewitt but now that he has had a very average year his losses are not vscrutinised as much as they were before.
