Dreddy's had a quicker reaction time, it came at him faster. However Nishioka's was a better winner. Down the line passing shot, vs Dreddy's which was sort of bunted into the open court. Hard to choose between them, I'll go with Nishioka's if only because of the reaction. Love the "mic" drop. Both were fantastic though.
Nishioka for me, because of the position he was in to pull it off and that it was a volley!
Had to say Dreddy's is nice but the attempted pass was rather conservative.
Nishioka's is on another level. A volley near the baseline behind the back with quite a bit of power to it? Amazing. The only other behind-the-back shot that's better is Dimitrov's half-volley dropshot. One of the most absurd things I've seen in tennis.
Two close ones. I'd have to give it to Dreddy as that shot required a lot quicker reflex. Sorry Nishioka, but you are playing really well this year....
he still had a lot of space to play with that volley. Nishioka threaded it down the line.
