Asked whether he considers tennis harder for the youngsters nowadays compared to when he started his career, Jo answered: "It's the same, I don't think it's harder than before, but before (the top players) retired at 30, and now they continue playing until 33, 35. There is more professionalism now."

This is an English speaking forum. At least make some translation if you're making a thread of it.

This era is weak in terms of top guys. Only tennis great in good form is Djokovic. If we're talking about Tier2 players, there's a lot of them, so this era has depth. Probably the worst combination. No excitment at the top while youngsters still have their work cut out for them.

so he's saying it's the same now and not any harder and therefore the young players are simply failing now? If so, I agree with Jo

Youngsters are just useless. They all suck. None have good variety and any net game, just brainless baselining without any purpose. Kyrgios, as much of a brainless thug he is, looks like the only one to do any damage, and that's just due to his firepower and lack of respect.

No discipline, send them all to West Point for a semester or two.

Everyone please keep in mind that the youngsters of today, by their own admission, looked up to Federer while they were growing up. They're all failures so far.

You can come to your own conclusions from here.

I do not speak Spanish, but doesn't he say there is more competition now in the last sentence, so in fact, he is contradicing himself.
