So, I'm doing a similar thread than this one I made last year:
http://www.menstennisforums.com/2-g...-stan-man-wawrinka-good-sleeper-rg-title.html

The way he's currently playing I think it's perfect for modern clay.

Big serve, big forehand, improved return, backhand and net play.

Just needs to work a bit better on fitness. Could be a good idea to add Rasheed to the team!

I doubt he won't reach at least the semis there too. Keep an eye on him!

Are you officially out of Dimitrov bandwagon?

I was thinking earlier that this new and improved version will be dangerous on the clay. Moya seems to be a top programmer.

The one thing with Sleeve though - is his style perhaps contributing to these injuries he's picking up? He plays with such big power all the time...

Raonic needs to make top 8 until Roland Garros in order to have a better draw and who knows. Hopefully he is back in action next month where he needs to defend 180 points and after a SF in IW. His best chance for now is to get top 9 seed and with Federer not playing Miami, Monte Carlo, and possibly Rome get a top 8 seed.

9-12 draws aren't that different than 5-8 seed draws. They draw each other in R4 so wouldn't have to face a top 4 player until the QF. Getting himself to 8 won't change that

The only thing it would accomplish is would get him to face a 9-12 guy instead of a 5-8 guy, but really Raonic is good enough to beat all those players anyway.

The big part was getting out of that 13-16 group to avoid top 4 until QF. Getting to 8 would be a minor step, but the next major draw improving step is top 4 so you won't need to face a top 4 guy until the semis.

Big step this year though so far. 970 points in 2 events to start, some points dropping off soon, especially IW, but after that he's in a great spot to zoom up the ranking.

Just needs to keep getting put in Stan's quarter :D

Nadal is a very declined player. Was just destroyed in the R1 by Verdasco, while him and his coach said he was at top form. He willl be a non-factor at RG, can pretty much lose to the likes of Ramos and Carreno Busta. Deal with it.

No. look, the guy struggles to beat nadal, even this version of him on a hard court .I cant in any scenario see him beating the guy on clay.

even looking past nadal there's djokovic, wawrinka and ferrer who i'd all rate above him on the surface.

he can go deep but he's not winning and the same goes for wimbledon. where i couldnt see him beating murray or federer in a final or at any stage for that matter. also put djokovic above him and tsonga and cilic as well if they were at their best

He is out for four months? I didn't read anywhere about this.
